Weather icons

I’m working on improving and expanding our weather icon set. The icons will be included in our upcoming weather app, as well as a future version of iStat Menus.

It’s been great to do a full pass over the icon set, fixing lots of details I wasn’t happy with previously.

The icons here are shown a bit bigger than they appear in the app — they range from 18px (Mac menubar) to 216px at their largest size.

The shading in the clouds was rendered in 3D, and smudged using this cheeky technique.
