Black Walnut

There was a black walnut tree outside one of the houses I grew up in. It was a monstrous thing that dropped fist sized nuts that left a sticky sap that I can still smell now. There was a swing hanging from the largest and most central branch, and my dad used to push me around in circles on it. The nuts would fall off like meteors, and sometimes you had to dodge them. 7/10 that sap smelled horrid.
