**Challenge**
The Golden Drum Festival once again invited the best young creatives to take part in a competition for the best and most creative poster. In 2018, the brief was focused on strenghtening Piran’s brand, as:
Piran – Tartini’s Town

**Who was Tartini?**
Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1779) was a Baroque composer and violinist. Born and raised in Piran while it was still a part of the Republic of Venice. Considered one of the most skilled violinists in history, with his magnum opus being Devil’s Trill Sonata – a piece so challenging that it spread rumors of Tartini selling his soul to a devil. Tartini’s statue now watches over Piran’s main square, the Tartini Square.

**Idea**
You can't go anywhere without checking reviews first. Worse than 10/10? Don't bother. Piran, on the other hand, offers food, culture – everything! – so good that 10/10 is not enough. Even Tartini needed an extra finger to show how great his city is. The posters are based on a legend telling that Tartini had six fingers on his left hand, and put a spin on an internet meme of rating everything x/10. They show different activities available in Piran as worthy of 11/10, visualised by Tartini's hands and contextual hats on his head.
