Instagram for Web - Profile

Most of us don't use Instagram for web usually. I did one day and wondered why they don't make use of the space like they should. Here's a short exploration into it -

1. Profile information is static on the left side so you have more content upfront.
2. Current stories are highlighted because I don't get what's the purpose of hiding them on a profile.
3. The page is just better structured to highlight content.
