European E-book Barometer (logo animation)

The European E-book Barometer: a new and comprehensive analysis of the European e-book market. A new publication of e-book consultant Rüdiger Wischenbart, who asked CB and me to help him create a new format, design and data analysis.

Wischenbart is known for his yearly updates on the worldwide (or European) e-book developments. Usually based on what can be found online or incidental contributions. CB already contributed data for last years report. And before that, my blog (on developments in the book world) has been used several times as a source for e-book developments in The Netherlands.

I’ve created a fresh and new design for the European E-book Barometer, consisting of: a logo, graph designs, brochure template, infographic template and a style guide. It has resulted in a clean design, which makes it possible to add all types of graphs in multiple colors, without feeling cluttered.

The first edition is made in cooperation with Bookwire (Germany), CB (The Netherlands) and IPDA (Madrid), which made it possible to compare trends for Germany, The Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
