Long form exploration

Long form articles are always interesting to design. How do you keep a lot of information, usually text heavy, engaging? This is a concept that plays with a few ideas. The idea behind the concept is a site or app that deals with the more down to earth travel experience instead of all that is shiny and sells plane tickets.
