"Joy" - Smart Home / Cloud-Based Ecosystem

The concept was inspired by my perception of existing wall outlet receptacles as having a sad, or worried face with the ground-pole hole that looks like a frown. Once the product was designed, taglines like "Making your sad outlets happy" and "A Smart Plug is a Happy Plug” soon followed. Eventually the product name - “Joy” was a serendipitous choice. Beyond that, the campaign operates under it’s own momentum and practically creates itself, I'm just along for the ride.
