Quirky postcards

Hey,
When was the last time you petted a chipmunk?
When was the last time you were singing in the rain?
Have you already discussed the latest books?
Have you packed your stuff for adventures?

I was going around various gift shops to offer my postcards and heard the only answer. Nobody buys postcards these days. Is that true?
In every new country I tend to look for interesting postcards to send to my friends and usually it is so difficult to do it! Not mentioning art museums, it is barely impossible to find anything apart from photos of the city. Is it the only thing that represents the place you are in?
