Ama_ _ _.com pixel mosaic

I was asked to create a mural design for the new Ama_ _ _ offices here in Cape town. The final design was turned into a pixel art style mosaic.

The brief was to create a scene inspired from the beautiful sea point promenade in Sea point, Cape town. The challenge was to include humorous elements to the scene, and the client also specifically requested star wars references be added to the scene.

The mosaic was constructed out of individual glass tiles
measuring 2.5cm X 2.5cm each.

A staggering 21736 tiles were used to create this mosaic.
