Alison Carmichael has been collecting industry accolades for over 15 years for her unique hand crafted typography. She is famous for her diverse range of styles and versatile approach to lettering. Alison works with advertising agencies, branding consultants and design groups but has also created exhibition signage, window displays, pop promos, embroidered lettering and body art too. Alongside traditional pen and ink, she has explored some interesting writing tools in her career including ketchup, shampoo, loose tea leaves and even full scale crop circles. Alison studied Graphic Design at Ravensbourne and will be on the judging panel for D&AD this year.
