Cerro del muerto

This is an illustration dedicated to El Cerro del Muerto (Dead Man's Mount) in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

According to legend, after a Chichimeca priest disappeared here, war was declared on the Chalcas.
The priest reappeared in mid-battle, but as he tried to stop the fighting he was hit by an arrow which pierced his heart, and as he fell his body buried the whole Chichimeca people.
The story explains the shape of the mount, which resembles a person lying down face up.

Hope you like it!
