Learned a lot with @andyfought when designing and developing this site. Completely responsive, used media query to detect retina display devices and serve higher resolution logo, and the CSS3 property: webkit-mask.

We used webkit-mask to add the subtle overlap of the banners on the navigation. One JPG that is masked onto a black, transparent PNG. Saves a bundle of browser load time.
