Here is the last vector version of the crazy Delorean Illo I worked on in full color, and with the wheels down. The wheels themselves had 9 layers of vector work :/

I did this illustration for many reasons:
• test limitations of this vector style
• test limitations of my computer
• because I like skeuomorphic illustrations
• because I like Back to the Future
• problems solve certain pieces (tubing, wiring, etc)
• get out of illustration 'rust' or 'funk'

There were plenty other reasons that I can't think of right now. Contrary to what a lot of people believe, I actually don't have a ton of patience lol... I do like to power through an illustration like this once in a while because I find it opens possibilities for other illustrations in the future.
