About the project

LiveNeighborly.com, a mobile app in California for gardeners and their clients. Clients can sign up for regular monthly, bi-weekly or weekly gardener services for a regular fee. Gardeners get notification about incoming jobs, map with a route helps them to be more effective and not waste too much time on driving between clients. They are also able to take photos what jobs have been done and report it to their customers.

Goals

Our team was asked to go through existing app, test it and design better user experience and user interface design. The goal was to make gardeners and house owners experience much easier, simple and straight forward.

Solution

We simplified onboarding and registration process by making every step easier and more intuitive. During the registration process, user is being guide on every step. Plan price is always visible one the screen through all steps and the applicant can see how it changes with every choice.

We improved teh admin panel, so every user is available to control their settings and price plans, edit contact and billing details and change payment options. Home owners also can see gardener bookings and service history.

We reduced number of colors, chose brighter accent colors and high contrast colors for text. We also chose cleaner fonts to make it all easier to read.

Goals of this application improvements have been achieved and we designed and built an app successfully connecting gardeners and home owners.
