This is a collection of short stories based in rural India. Written in Hindi. A hilarious story about this man who gets a $100 shoes as a gift form his son in law, which becomes a status symbol for him and a social statement. He sits and polishes it every day and handles it with care. But one day a stray dog picks up the shoe and chews it destroying the pair.
