Connecting the Baltic and the black seas together

This was not in the dreams of the Baltic Kurs tribe but in the plans of the Soviets. An idea emerged to connect the Baltic and the Black seas together. It would stretch as a few thousand kilometer shipping routes across the river Neman and Dnipro.
