Emulation of Print Design w/ Adobe XD

As a pure exercise in getting to know @AdobeXD more as a design tool, I took a spread from a book I acquired a while back for design inspiration. In this book, the 1956 Yearbook of Motion Pictures by Jack Alicoate, there are several spreads such as this one with beautiful use of grid design, whitespace and typography. I wanted to use it as a fun learning exercise to take something that was originally made in print, and translate that into the digital world.
I saw the design and immediately thought of how incredible @AdobeXD 's repeat-grid would be to get this design rolling.
I was really happy with how it turned out.

I also utilized a very awesome app, which is basically Shazam for typography, called 'What the Font' to determine what font families or similar families I needed to use.
