The 100 Day Project: Yugen

for as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by “untranslatable words” — words that don’t have a one-to-one translation between languages, yet evoke a unique feeling or experience. what I love most about these words is how much they can reflect cultures and traditions.

I’ve been thinking of tackling these words as an ongoing series for years, and decided to use the #The100DayProject as the catalyst to get started. I've been lettering one untranslatable word each day (with a few breaks here and there 😏) since April 3rd, accompanied by its rough definition.
