And you thought your soul was dark...

This was a personal re-branding and poster series project for the Poe Museum in Richmond, Virginia. I felt that the current branding could be more cohesive and up to date. Poe was known for his writing and dark stories that he told. Therefore the design element of ink splatters and spots was used to emphasize his writing. The design also has an eerie and mysterious feel while also looking clean and sophisticated in order to keep the playfulness of the brand without going over the top.
