One of the biggest frustrations for an infrequent shipper is figuring out the price of their shipment, which is heavily dependent on weight and dimensions. Many individual consumers do not own a scale, or have measuring tape readily available. For this reason a lot of customers simply take their item to a carrier's office location - which is inefficient for the carriers, when customers could be using options like drop boxes.

This is a quick concept for a fun way we could tackle the challenge of estimating weight for users. The first option is comparing it to common objects. The second is a "myfitnesspal" style database of branded objects that users could pull this data from automatically.
