Best Mom Ever

It’s our second Mother’s Day without you. It’s been 2 years since we took our last family pictures of all four of us together out on my balcony. It’s been 24 months since we took you to our favorite local pub for a special brunch. It’s been 730 days since you tried your first and last beermosa. It’s been 17,520 hours since you wore that pretty pink top and showed off your soft white hair coming back in. It’s been 1,051,200 minutes since you flashed that proud momma smile at all of us. It’s been 63,072,000 seconds since I gave you a hug and kiss and told you how awesome of a Mom you are on your special day.

I miss you. We miss you. This is never going to be an easy day, but I was beyond lucky to have had 29 of them with the best mom ever... but who’s counting right?

I’ll always have you right here with me. Every year on this day I’ll reflect on the 29 I had and the woman I was celebrating. You’re still the best mom ever.
