Esper Inbound

I am so excited to be a part of Esper. Building this brand and defining a design system has been happily keeping me up at night for the past month or so.

My partners came to me with an idea of having marketing ESP. I didn't want to create anything too tacky with wizards and tarot stuff. I really wanted to shape something elegant, refined. I wanted a look that communicated professionalism. At the same time I wanted some ominous, secret society vibes.

I was building lotuses (plural? idk) in Illustrator and built a really cool shiruken, that's the shape in the center of the eye, and I gave it a crown. I like it, I think it represents a lotus-floral growth, a strategic target-like shape, it's voodoo tribal looking. The crown could use some work I think. I'm going to re-address this in six months or so.
