7 - Seven Sisters, or The Pleiades. This cluster is among the nearest star clusters to Earth and most obvious to the naked eye. It contains thousands of stars formed around 100 million years ago. 7 Stars can be seen prominently and thus in ancient Greek mythology, they take the names of seven divine sisters.
