In the same vein as a concept for the fictional Ministry of Road and Water Works. In this symbol, the river becomes the road that crosses it and back. This creates a lemniscate, or infinity-symbol. As the work is never done. Once a road, canal or bridge has been built, maintenance follows for years to come. This work is never done.
