Nib Guidance

When I draw letters, I try to compile the movements of the pen. I use arrows, numbers, colours, and other symbols to remember and/or replicate those. Right now, I am composing a sheet with a full ductus.
I am trying to understand what is the right way to instruct the user about the construction of the letters. For example, the position of the line, the dashes of the stroke, and the shape of the marker.
From top to bottom: filled stroke, without starting mark, and with triangle ending mark; dashed stroke, with square starting mark, and with triangle ending mark; dotted stroke, with circle starting mark, and with triangle ending mark.
