Recter Contrast Basics

When I start working on a project, I always define some rules. They may change over the time, but they guide me to ensure consistency across the design. The first one is the contrast.
This particular family was based on certain parameters:
— the nib was positioned at a 45º angle;
— the strokes were either horizontal or vertical;
— the strokes made a 90º angle.
