Evening Standard Section Headers

When redesigning the section headers for The Evening Standard my aim was to roll back to a more simple design and use the colour sparingly. The result was a simple title with a higher letter spacing in our newly cut font: Standard Sans.

To add the section colours a simplem 2px wide underline is used which is intended to bring prominence to the title as well as giving the user an easily digested visual guide to which part of the website that are on.
