Product Prompt #14 on Product Disrupt Blog

We as tech folks no more have any consistency or a system in place to grant designations. Because what’s the fun in abiding by the rules, right? So, every fourth person in the tech industry now has made-up titles. You’re no more a UX Designer, you’re probably a UX Ninja or some sort of UX Junkie. That’s right, junkies too are UX-ing now.

Then how’d you know what a title really stands for you may ask. I’d say, read the job description, mate. If not thorough, you’ll at least find enough information to give you a gist of what the title means.

I also reached out to a couple of friends who’ve been active members of the tech community for quite a while to know their thoughts on this particular topic. Let’s hear it from them.
