The shapes recall one of the gates used as entrance to this square which was build in the middle age using the ancient roman anphiteatre. The perspective you have when you enter this rounded piazza is the one you see in picture 2 [see attachments]. The mark also recreate an "A" standing for "Anphiteatre" and "Angolotondo"
