This is a small plugin I wrote for WordPress https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-playback-speed/
It adds controls so that people can select a playback speed if (like me) you don't like slow audio or video (works with both, and multiple)
It's non-commercial free-software, it's very unopinionated, hence the simplistic UI (which I'm iterating on as I write).
Pictured is the Boagworld UX podcast which is kindly trying out the plugin right now.
