Pyramid

This is another in the series of IRL 3D blog headers for a Focus Client (we're stoked their site is launching in the next month or two).

When creating these, we first figured out the shape of the pieces then got a local wood worker to build them. This piece was made out of MDF and we thought it would hold the paint better. We were wrong... or perhaps I don't know what I'm doing - which is likely the case.

Essentially we spray painted, sanded it, painted, sanded, painted until we got the finish were we wanted. We could have used primer, but (as my weak judgement tells me) we would have done the same thing: primed, sanded, primed, sanded, then painted.

Any pointers in painting wood?
