Isometric Typography

I've been wanting to level up in illustrator for a while, so I decided to learn how to make isometric structures! It's actually super easy with an isometric grid. You might be able to see it, or maybe not, but I wrote out my name in an abstract structure.

I've ever since I started listening to 99% Invisible when I was fifteen, I've developed an interest in architecture, and the drawing techniques that come with it. Then Monument Valley came out, I played it non-stop and I've been obsessed with the art style ever since.

So I guess I'll leave you guys with this -- when you're out of ideas, pull from unrelated your interests and hobbies, and illustrate / design around those core concepts or interests. It has helped me quite a bit through the years.
