First look at how the elements will feel on the desktop version with the pinkish beige tone. I quite like the focus that the circle brings to everything.

Still not too sure about the side stripes 'next' & 'previous'. A person can only spend so much time dragging a rectangle, changing the colour, deleting it, trying other options and then re-adding the rectangle before you say "nah, it's okay."
