Menu Animation—Work in progress

Working on a microinteraction for a menu animation.

There are some subtle details here such as animating the rounded corners to give a more "card-like" feeling to convey the message that this menu is ontop the actual home screen. Works really well when scaling down the home screen and adding a slight dark overlay.

The lazy load on the content within the menu and the fade-in of the icons when dismissing the menu—also help to make this a more engaging and delightful experience.
