Thirty Day Logo Challenge - Day 12

Company: "Sword & Shield is an upcoming security system for tech companies. Our software includes password protection, server backups, malware protection, and more. We're focused on appealing to medium to large scale technology companies."

Came out with a good logo, but I felt like this logo doesn't show customers that this company is a cyber security company. I had a lot of trouble expressing concepts like cyber and virtual in this logo. I tried to achieve this with the broken lines, but it was not too effective. As the client requested, I had the logo include a sword and shield and made it versatile to work in both light and dark backgrounds. I had fun making a monogram of the company's initials. I treated the monogram as a crest bearing the shield like in heraldry.
