Tēmi Voice Interface

When designing the UI for a personal robot, we wanted to avoid it feeling human-like and went with a text-only interface when interacting with voice commands. User speech appears to the left and Tēmi's response to the right, separated by the line which acts as an abstracted "face" and recurring graphic element.
