DISC Logo

NumFOCUS contacted me to make a logo for their Diversity and Inclusion in Scientific Computing program.

With this logo, NumFOCUS wanted to give the DISC program a specific identity in its family of programs. This logo needed to fit in with the other logos but also be able to stand its own and assert itself as a compelling logo. This logo works because it represents diversity as something organic and growing. Also you’ll notice that when the colors come together and overlap they create something new and beautiful.
