Life update: Medium

Apologies for the simple shot, but I wanted to let everyone know I'm joining Medium as their Head of Design! I am absolutely thrilled to be joining a company that has given myself and so many others a platform to share their voices.

The most fulfilling times I had at Vox Media were when we worked on improving tools for creators, and when we melded design and content to enhance the consumption of their hard work for audiences.

I'm looking forward to continuing those efforts at Medium, in addition to growing the design team (we are hiring!), maintaining and improving upon Medium's design reputation, and finding ways to reward writers for quality instead of chasing views.
