My first exposure to King Krule was through Mt Kimbie. The uniquely low and dreary tone of his voice is both haunting and memorable - really love the discordant melodies in this album too. Something about “Dum Surfer” just keeps coming back on my queue, which makes it easily one of my favorite tracks this year!
