This is my first year being apart of this magical project of designing album covers for my top 10 albums of the year (much love to @ericrmortensen for the invite) , and just picking albums to design became a project in itself. Most of my picks this year challenge both my listening and comprehension of creating music, growing my appreciation for the skill of the album itself. Sure, there were others (like 20 others) I wanted to include, but I narrowed it down to 10 that changed me his year. NxWorries initial album “Yes Lawd!” burrowed deep into my brain, but listening to this album was like watching my favorite movie with all different actors using the same script. There was a similar flavor, but entirely new and intriguing in its personality.
