Nature - Genetics (Women's Health)

I was commissioned by Nature magazine to create a series of illustrations for their Outlook supplement about women's health.

The feature looks at many aspects of women's health, including conditions that affect only women, or more women than men, as well as those with different symptoms in the sexes.

The topic of this illustration is genetics. Biological sex is more complicated than just XX and XY. Sex chromosomes in every cell of the body exert widespread and sometimes unexpected effects.
