New Realm Brewing Packaging Exploration #REJECTED
There's a new brewery opening in Atlanta soon that's much anticipated. We had the honor of developing their strategy, name, core identity, and explored packaging design before the client switched to a new, West Coast agency. It was heartbreaking, but we still love them.
Our suggested designs for their packaging were just too good to not share with our design peers. The first was a colorful exploration that truly lived the "Wander Boldly" motto. The second direction was more reserved, but still held a unique feel for craft beer and breweries in general. A bit daring, memorable and fun. Both directions explore the unknown with representations of either ancient explorers and thinkers, or cryptozoological creatures.
Needless to say these will not see the light of day except in our hearts and minds, but hopefully some of you are inspired by the direction and create even better, more bold looks for craft breweries. Can't wait to see the work!
Special thanks to @Steven_Noble and his brilliant illustrations. We used them for placement and fully intended to hire him for actual, custom illustrations like we did for a new craft cider brand we are nearly finished with. Images on that coming soon!
