SVG's!
Studio Bolland is now offering Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG's). They are considerably smaller in filesize than gifs and videos and are made entirely out of code. They're vector based which means they can scale up to any size and not lose quality. Check out the link to see SVG's in action.
