Red Sox starter Drew Pomeranz claimed his 16th victory of the season with a gutsy performance to tie the league lead in wins. After a slow start, the Boston offense began to produce in the middle innings with a home run from catcher Christian Vázquez and three RBI from outfielder Andrew Benintendi.
