2D → 3D Illustration Study

A couple months ago we did an exploration on illustration and what it could look like for Twitch. You may recognize this microchip from a previous shot I posted (http://bit.ly/2vVDijD) but the example above was how we could mix styles and how it translated from 2D to 3D.

We were looking for a scalable 2D illustration style that's fairly simple to replicate based on a set of rules that we would set fourth so that a multitude of designers could create an illustration on the fly if necessary.
