FoozBrawlin' App Overview

The Internet of Things was a new and exciting technology PointSource employees wanted to get into and also a service we wanted to be able to provide our clients. As an opportunity to explore and learn about this evolving technology, we decided to create an MVP that turns an ordinary foosball table into an IoT foosball table. The goal of the app itself was to create a fun tool to track in real time the Foosball games that happen in the office, collect individual player and historical data, match up player strengths, create a notification platform to challenge other players to a match, use the data collected to provide predictive outcome analysis and best of all… get a forum opened up for some public braggin' rights :)

The mobile app was paired with and powered by a scoreboard tablet app that was built into a custom table to keep score and aid in player sign in.
