Zhihu follows Apple's design specifications to the greatest extent, but this brings a problem: the overall style is too simple so that it is difficult to develop other types of design in finding page. In other words, we need to prioritize dynamic design wants rather than constantly thinking about following principles. For this reason, sticking visual style with focus on maximizing the use of iOS design style, I also embrace a large variety of contents in finding pages. Considering these challenges, much effort has been paid and numerous versions have been applied, and finallay we reach a satisfactory result.
The new finding page gives us an excellent portal scalability, providing the most comprehensive traffic entry support platform for applications, and the new design has resulted in a 58% increase in PV on finding page, a 121% increase in entrance conversion rate, and a 72% in content conversion rate. Most importantly, these values ​​are still increasing!
