Responsive website for PROEM — Error pages
One more shot from the PROEM corporate website project. This time — "Forbidden" and "Not found" pages on mobile.
When working on complex websites with loads of comps it's easy to forget about those error messages, but I find that providing even a basic explanation of what happened with a link to the homepage (or search of whichever page is the most relevant) can improve the overall experience. The entire product feels more polished and the user gets some "closure", if you may.
I often see people landing on the default Apache 404 page — that's less "closure" and more "omg what just happened there did I just break the internet?" : )
Styling the error messages can be a great experience tip for novice designers (perhaps, such as myself).
