MUTEMATH / Play Dead

A couple of months ago, I received a text from Paul asking if I'd be interested in taking a stab at the new album artwork. I remember where I was standing and the feeling I felt knowing that I could potentially be contributing to the amazing legacy of other artists who have worked on MM stuff before — JT Daly, Boyd DuPree, Darren King. What was ultimately selected as the cover was a design that Darren came up with, and I spent a couple of days fine-tuning it before beginning work on building out the rest of the packaging, press imagery, merch, etc.

There's so much I could say about what I've learned in working on this campaign, but ultimately it comes down to a sheer thankfulness for the team that let me be part of this and made all of this happen: Paul, Darren, Lindsay, and Andrew.
