Baseball Hall of Fame - Cubs Interactive Exhibition Series
This project was something I worked on late last year into the new year. I was tasked with coming up with a way to display all of the historical elements the Baseball Hall of Fame has, in a compelling way that was more than just a data dump of images without context.
The route we took was to create exhibits based around events throughout baseball history and tying those stories and pieces of memorabilia to the story we were trying to tell. The idea being, that we would have many of these exhibits focused around timely events, historical significance, and other interest people may have.
So for this first exhibit, we chose to do the story of the Chicago Cubs 2016 team, which was very hard for me to do being from St. Louis. All of the elements would be memorabilia, footage, audio and other items from their archive. The site was also going to be responsive to provide that story across as many devices as possible.
In the end while the client was really excited about the project, they weren't ready to commit fully for a budget standpoint. I'm still really happy with the direction it ended up going and having the opportunity to work with such a great organization.
